I provide practical and emotional postpartum support to families with new babies. I come to you - whether that’s in hospital or at home, during the day, evenings, and overnight.
How I can support you:
A listening ear and a calm, non-judgemental presence
Preparing nourishing meals and drinks
Light housework
Caring for older children or pets
Support for partners
Creating space for you to rest, shower, eat, and take a breath
With over five years’ experience supporting families, I offer flexible, responsive care that adapts to what you need on the day. I care for you, so you can care for your baby.

Full presence for your family: With no little ones of my own, I bring complete flexibility and energy to your home - showing up when you need me, for as long as you need, with your rhythm always coming first.
I handle the load so you can rest: I bring practical relief (think warm meals, folded laundry, clean sheets, and a settled sibling) with compassion and presence. This is essential postpartum care, not a luxury.

No. You don’t need to be at breaking point, and you don’t need to have everything planned out either. Some people reach out during pregnancy to plan their postpartum with me, others contact me when they have a 2-month-old and things feel overwhelming. All parents are worthy of support, no matter what stage they’re at.
If you’re wondering whether support would help, that’s reason enough to get in touch.

You can reach me through my Contact page, by sending me an email, or giving me a call.
From there, we can connect in whichever way feels easiest - a coffee, a walk, a video call, or I can come to your home to meet you and your family. The goal is simply to get to know each other and see whether I’m the right support person for you.
Lean on Lucy acknowledges that we live and work on the stolen lands of the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara people.
We extend respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have been living on these lands, waterways and seas since time immemorial.
Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
